Wishing for an economic failure is all we need to know

And yes. It's a liberal thing

Is it any worse than cheering on horrible policy ?

I guess you get what you voted for william...not my problem

Gotta make lemonade somehow.

You don’t get to define marurity, you're a crybaby

Your words speak for themselves, proving you're nothing more than a fanatic.

I aim much higher, I never wish for economic harm on anybody. That's such a liberal thing to do

It's genetics, no other plausible explanation

Trump is on the clock, he will get the trade deal done, any deals. The Fed is taking 'wait-n-see' approach, it's all on Trump camp to solve this problem.
The first deal is very important. No one escapes the 10% min tariff. Who knows what Japan is offering, if they can squeeze it down to 5%, it can be a relief for the market.

We're living in a very impulsive world. Boom/bust cycle is shorten. Dec 2018, Mar 2020, Dec 2022, Apr 2025, very consistent trend.

Trump cut off the supply chain of thousands of American businesses without first creating domestic supply chain infrastructure and giving the businesses time to transition. his argument about trade deficits being unfair is fundamentally flawed, and using trade deficits to determine tariff rates makes no sense.

You can guess about his reasons for doing this, but smart economic policy is not one of them

Sounds like Trumphole is bending over backward to get a deal with Japan- any deal.
Could be their old deal as long as they don’t sell off bonds or join teams with China.
What a winner

This is what TDS sounds like

Bending over backwards . Lol !

Bessent wrote his message with thanks to Trump “for hosting our very productive talks and putting us on the path towards the best possible deal for the American people … ”

Japan and the United States plan to hold a second round of ministerial-level talks by the end of this month, with the aim of reaching an early agreement.

I cant decide if "Big beautiful Trump recession" or "Most beautiful word in the dictionary recession" is better ?

He'll crater on the ludicrously high 145% soon.
Maybe just a simple " Trumpcession" Hoovervilles stuck I don't see why Trumpcession can't be folded into the lexicon anytime now.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang has sent a letter to Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba calling for a coordinated response to U.S. President Donald Trump's tariff measures, Japan's Kyodo news agency reported on Tuesday.

Trumps 14% drop in the S&P the biggest percentage drop since the S&P was created in the 1950s
He'd better flip flop quickly on Tariffs or risk a "Trumpsession "

My bet is this weaking flips before the dollar is further weakened.

They won't work at all Mr. Dick Handler and he'll back down soon anyway.

Can't embargo China and expect the economy to float.

Roche to invest $50 billion in the U.S. as pharma tariff threat lingers

Roche said the investment will create over 12,000 jobs--including 1,000 new positions at the company--and result in more pharmaceutical exports from the U.S. than imports.

China is being hurt by Trump.

Factories supplying Chinese fast-fashion giant Shein have ground to a halt in southern China, as President Donald Trump's new tariffs and closure of the "de minimis" loophole upend Beijing's retail export model. With the tariff policy set to take effect on May 2, dozens of garment workshops in Guangzhou's Panyu district -- dubbed "Shein Village" -- have gone idle, marking a major shift in the global fast-fashion supply chain.

When the u/e rate hits 30% for factory workers in China, the guy who knows all about "how tariff's work" will explain how Trump is really losing.
