I've always believed that once prices go up it's almost impossible to bring them down without a recession. The price of gas and oil is the exception. Right now I'd be really happy to see prices stabilize. You know, like they were stable in Trump's first term.

But the President is juggling several balls. He wants both Canada and Mexico to secure their own borders thus making illegal immigration and fentanyl diminish in our country. He also wants jobs repatrioted to the USA.

Sometimes there is short term pain to get to the big picture. Trump doesn't care about the short term like most politicians. He thinks the country needs a massive and complete correction like many of us do.
China makes all ingredients for fentanyl
No push back there ? : )

“Learn how tariffs work”

I know

Supply shortages (like they actually created with Covid lockdowns)

High inflation (like they actually created with archaic energy policies and the aforementioned lockdowns)

Financial markets are going to tank (as they totally ignore the fact investors loved Trump’s elections in both 2016 and 2024)

WINNING

Adults are in charge now

Nonfarm payrolls rose by 147,000 in June, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported Thursday. That’s above the Dow Jones forecast for 110,000. The unemployment rate also fell to 4.1%, while economists had projected an increase to 4.3%.
