Let's all ask ourselves a serious question right now, would you let Leonard fournette chase down the NCAA single game rushing record and rack up big heisman votes against the ironically the nations worst rush defense, or do you only limit his carries and rest him for future weeks? This is a serious question..... It's the perfect opportunity for him and that O line to do it, and you know they've prepped for the idea... But do they let him go for it or prepare for bigger things....

biggest reason son I ask is because LSU will not make up their first game which may or may not hurt his heisman chances, but it certainly could in terms of total numbers at the end of the year if it's a tight race...

any thoughts

Avoid injuries. Those EMU players are still D1 football players. He'll likely easily get to 100 yards by halftime if they give him the ball 10-15 times.

I say unleash the Beast! A Heisman torphy would be another feather on Les' cap and quiet the complaints about their inept passing game.

That's what I'm thinking too... More important games... What if he's got 250 at the half tho lol?? That's possible

this could be very ugly.. i believe EMU ranks dead last in rush D.. miles has to be careful though, when he gets to heart of his sec schedule he is not going to win the conference title handing the ball off... need to get qb going and this could be a good game to give him 25/30 attempts..

30 minimum. The LSU wrs are stacked. Still is mind blowing how they get so many talented receivers. LF gets 100+ and sit his ass.

Coach Miles isn't going to sit Fournette. He'll play the entire first half and all of the third quarter, doing what Les has always done....platooning his RB's. This is a large reason why LSU has more NFL players than any other school....because they aren't worn out like Alabama's RB's.

However, the problem for EMU (and a reason to lay 45) is LSU's offensive line. Those guys are going to beat on the EMU players for three quarters, in the Baton Rouge humidity, and EMU will have nothing left for the last 15 minutes of the game. By the way, LSU's third level RB is so damn good you guys will be amazed, and that kid is going to run WILD in the fourth quarter. Additionally 1OSUbucks is correct.....Miles will give the QB plenty of reps in this game and he has WONDERFUL receivers.

LSU 38-0 at the half
LSU 59-0 for the game.
