When I withdraw, how fast before I RECEIVE my money, "no I didn't ask you when you PROCESS it, but when will I receive it."

Is the check drawn on a US bank?

Is there a charge for the check?

What are your limits?
Do you kick players out for winning?
Do you take Wise Guy Action?
What are your neteller fees?
Do you do Sportsbook Transfers?
Do you have overnight lines?
Do you have reduce juice?

Asking about how long you have been in business and do you pay, will only lead to lies. I think that you should stick to factual questions so they can´t lie or you will find out really soon. I also believe that any book that takes Wise Guy action and has normal limits is a good sign. Good Luck

THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION TO ASK IS:

....CAN OLDFRIEND NEGOTIATE A SPECIAL SIGN UP BONUS FOR ALL RX POSTERS?

In light of recent events I thought it was time all went back to the basics and reviewed important questions to ask ones self when picking a book. In my opinion this is something that should long have been hanging on the site for newbies and others to reference.

Bottom line as much as a watchdog site can fight for all it can not tell a book how to run its buisness or what decisions it should make.

IMHO the number one thing I hear from the player is "I didn't know, why didn't they...Its a common theme in almost all disputes. It comes down to not doing your homework, chasing bad numbers or great odds without forthought and GREED. They should have told me says the chours...its in the rules say the books. This leads me to the one question I dont see.

Are all the rules of conduct and procedures clearly listed on the front page of the website for the consumer to review before sending any money or filling out a general information form. Rules that are broken down into important catergories such as, Deposit/Withdrawl procedure, dispute resolution, etc.
Yes or No. When I say all I mean all which includes under which rule they can throw a player out or confiscate money.

This would go a long way in stopping that I didn't know/Should have told me thing. A watchdog is only as good as the people behind it and its up to the people to start demanding these simple public disclosures if you are to have a better offshore expierence.

START LEARNING TO SELF REGULATE YOURSELVES AND STOP DEPENDING ON A HANDFULL OF OTHERS TO DO IT FOR YOU. THERE IS POWER IN NUMBERS. START USING THEM TO EFFECT THE CHANGES YOU SAY YOU WANT AND YOUR PROBLEMS WILL START TO GO AWAY.

1. are you a prefessional book or a recreational book

1b if you are recreational what are the limits a player can play at to remain recreational

1c should you wish to terminate an account what is the accounting procedure and notification steps for a player

2. are all your rules for every sport clearly posted on your site

2c are those rules generally acceptable across the industry (for exmaple horse trifecta payouts)

3. are you willing to have the rx act as a mediator for any rule that is used that is not stipulated clearly on the website

4. clear bonus policy

5. withdrawal times for checks neteller

6. how many english speaking cs reps do you have not how many phone lines you have

7. discuss with them that there are many books on the internet and thats how players are signing up with them so obviously alot of bettors know which lines are better or worse so if a client takes your price thats the books responsibility to cover the risk not the clients fault for making a wager at the best price available to him or her

thats a start for me im sure some more tomorrow

This is a good thread with a lot of great answers. Whatever happened to the master list J-Man? Its crunch time and this would be very helpful.

I just realized this is from 2003 originally. Sorry J-Man. Can we get an updated list.
