almost a week later, a lot of items are still in short supply and prices much higher,

it takes 2-3X as long as to shop.

Screw these old bags telling me I'm violating the one way restriction !

Hell, Lady I'm only going one damn way !, call security, if you want !

Plus the store choose this time to reset the aisles, so nothing is where it was, lightbulbs are in the damn produce department !

Never had a problem with anything from the start of this except hand sanitizer. And I don't anticipate any problems going forward. People are well stocked up already and the hysteria is starting to blow off despite the useful idiots here that desperately try to keep it going.

shelves looked pretty bare at Shoprite today, especially rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer, many produce items

they had a lot of bottled water, paper products aisle pretty wiped bare

everybody required to wear masks, one way aisles

I don't think this will be quite over in time for any sort of baseball season, or NBA, NHL post-seasons.

The damage is already done to many small businesses that won't survive …. places like cafes, barbershops, bars, salons, etc., if you can't sell your stuff online, you're screwed

I don't see why the manufacturers of paper products can't get caught up to demand. Unless people are still hoarding. I haven't seen any napkins, toilet paper or paper towels since this all began. Totally empty shelves

Pasta and canned soup is still hard to find but somewhat sporadic depending on time of day

Expect to see a little more isles bare because people have gotten stimulus checks and will continue so the option for hoarding a bit is there

You certainly have consumer idiots out there. To be fair you can actually get a decent flat screen for only 100. But some dopes proably would buy one of those 1000 ones because 'free money'

it's barren, but you can get a single roll for like $1.50

more like $150 for like a 42 Incher by a known brand name

disposable cheap TV's for certain, you can buy one at the supermarket

$100 isn't far off , for off for a 40 " set delivered to your doorstep

Maybe someone should start a thread and get everyone to admit how many rolls they currently have at home ...:think2:

probably about 100 me, stockpiled over the years, plenty of old newspaper if needed for a first primary wipe, then the real stuff, finished off by an aloe cloth wipe, and a hand wash.

don't flush this refuse, you will fuck up your plumbing for certain, do it Mexican style with a can for used items, preferably lined with a plastic bag

Flour and eggs have been tough to find. My wife is on a text thread with a few neighbors so if 1 of them find something, they'll get for them. I know our neighbor got us 2 packages of flour the other day.

My wife is doing all the shopping. She told me skim milk with a longer expiration date has been hard to find.

We actually do most of our shopping these days with curbside pickup. Its been easier on her. I think the only place she'll walk inside is Costco and Sams Club. Difference is Sam's isnt so "nice" anymore
