or even winning the game, just getting their own money ?

I don't think you can say A-Rod, I think he wants the HOF badly.

Rasheed Wallace:

"I don't give a (expletive) about no trade rumors. As long as somebody 'CTC,' at the end of the day I'm with them. For all you that don't know what CTC means, that's 'Cut the Check. I just go out there and play. Again, somebody just 'CTC.'"

If Poker, I sure wouldn't care about some gay bracelet, only the cash.

The actual hardware ( Jewelry) would mean nothing to me. You could give me the most expensive watch known to mankind, I'd throw it in my sock drawer, never wear it, haven't worn a watch in decades.

I quit wearing a wedding ring about one week in. No chains, bracelets, anklets, toe rings, nipple rings, etc. for me. The only metal in/on my body is surgically permanent... busted ankle with a plate.

If I were a sports player... I'd hope I could want that "ring". If Poker, I know I wouldn't even care about it, money keeps the score in Poker. I'd throw my WSOP bracelet on ebay instantly, wouldn't even want the thing.
