What percentage of gamblers still "PHONE IN" there bets?

Is this quite a LOW number like 20% or less?? I have never called in in 5 yrs...

What percentage do you think still call in there wagers with all the great net access we have in this day ?

It will definately be a low % overall. I haven't called in a bet offshore for a long time either.

I call in about 30-40% of my bets.....that includes horses though...so maybe 25% of sports bets I call in....sometimes if your out or at a game...you gotta call....Dante how have you been at a computer for the last 5 years???LOL

I only call when I want to bet more than the online maximum on something or i've already played the max online.

I called in my bets yesterday. It is the main reason why I dont play at pinnacle right now. Sometimes I am not near a computer to place my bets or I want to bet over the maximum internet wager.


I would think that at least 50% of gamblers phone in at LEAST 2 bets per week.

If I'm at work I still need to call in my plays. I would say I call in about 10% for football, zero for baseball, but about 75% for baskets.

People with flip phones or people who work in remote locations. I worked on an oil field for 2 years, and called in every bet because we didn't have internet connection in our rooms. Otherwise gotta have some crazy reasons now.

Sometimes, but more often than not it is an older player who is not computer savvy. Also some shops make sharps call in plays.
