In the past I was never qualified to give an answer, but in the last 2 years I have been to most regions in the U.S at least once.
I still cant find anything better(or even as good as) then right here in Louisiana where I live.
Creole/cajun cooking.
Crawfish
gumbo
oysters
boudin
Anything seafood.
I do like some of the texmex near the Texas/Mexico boarder.
I also like the Chicago style Pizza's.
And I like the bbq in the midwest which is one of the few shortcoming's in Louisiana.
But when you add it all together I just cant find the vast selection of so many great foods that we have here in Louisiana.
The worst eating in the U.S is around the Kentucky/Indiana area.
I dont think these people even know what salt and pepper is.
Its brutal.
Cant believe they even have fat people in Southern Indiana. LOL
