What number would you rather? G Bay -5.5 (-110), G Bay -6 (Even)

In this type of situation, what is the best bet? I always struggle on whether to take the best number and pay the price or take the 1/2 Pt worse number at even money?

I wrestle with this too. I think in the long run the extra juice is worse since the .5 points rarely matter. But I still buy points at times.

I only consider buying off 7 or 3.

-6 at (even) is better IMO.

This is actually not the decision to buy but rather just 2 different lines at different outs. Obviously if on a key number (3,7,10,14) I usually take -110....but struggle with the other random numbers.

In that situation you take the free juice every time. If it was 3/3.5 or 7/7.5 then different story

Perhaps this is why the NFL has moved the extra point back. Just so you do pay for 5.5 instead of 6. Hmmmmm...

I always like to buy hook when line is 6. Bookies are normally on the dot and rather take win with 5.5 over push with 6. However its really up to you and your betting amount. BOL tonight.
