One team I keep hearing only good things about almost daily is the MINNESTOA VIKINGS!!

Not sure how to take that but I think they have become a huge public team.

Have any others that you keep hearing or reading only good things about?

Maybe the NFL publicity Dept is working overtime trying to reverse their (Vikings) reputation ??????

Jags I think, all they were missing the last 2-3 years was QB play and now with Garrard they seem to have it. However, I still don't think they are a top 4 team in the AFC and their lines seem to be inflated already. -3 on the road week 1 vs a equally physical team that made the playoffs last year?

Also saw some futures where they were PK @home vs indy (lost 29-7 to them there last year) and they are -7 vs Minn and -6.5 vs GB later in the year at home. Lines just seem inflated to me....

You can bet every bookie will need the Pats to lose week one. That team will be bet like it is the only team your allowed to bet.

In these parts and some national press have picked The Buffalo Bills to make a strong push for the playoffs this season, but I just don't see it. Peters is holding out and the depth at the offensive line is weak. We needed an upgrade at the tight end position and at the receiver's position and didn't do enough in my opinion. I see under 8 wins as a very strong play. I'm also not sold on Trent Edwards.

when I mentioned the Viking season win total to some people who don't bet, they were shocked it was so low

to a lesser extent the same thing was true with the Raiders

Well I was listening to John Clayton today on local talk radio and I took note.

He likes the Titans and dis likes Denver and esp Rams.

He said he was at Rams camp and noted the injury's to offensive line and it being a long season for said Rams.

I'm not. Two pretty even teams, so the Phins can easily win at home. I was hoping the line would move to +4.5 as an overreaction to the Favre trade so I could take Miami.

No doubt the Patriots are still the biggest public play. You also have to put the Jets up there now.

Yes, We Hear A Lot

re. my "Purple Gang"! I have this ominous feeling it's misplaced. Also it strikes me that heaven forbid AP may be a one shot wonder. Hope I'm wrong on both counts. I'd be willing to bet he doesn't get over 5 100 yd games.
