We did this with MNF and SNF.

I want to know if you think FOX does NFL games (soup to nuts, not just announcers) better, or dies CBS produce NFL games better?

I personally think FOX's act has grown old with Bradshaw, Long, and especially those stupid animated Robots they've been doing for years and is due for a change...

CBS lead team of Nantz and Simms > Buck and Aikman

CBS truck from director to stat guys > FOX truck.

CBS is head and shoulders better than FOX in NFL

CBS is the best. NFL on Fox is overproduced and the robots popping up all the time and making those sound effects are the best example.

I bet you if they take a poll most people don't like the robots.

cbs wins by default just because they don't have tony siragusa roaming the sidelines and commentating during the game.

At least Shannon Sharpe remains in the studio.

Since the early-mid 1960's when TV sports were emerging as a TV broadcast medium, the NFL Sunday broadcasting packages were surpassing baseball as the national sport (back then CBS had 12 million weekly NFL viewers over the 14 team league across all cities), CBS embraced and powered the expansion of the NFL. CBS extends their 50 years of experience and tradition and still runs the 'show'.

I prefer FOX. Although arrogant, Joe Buck calls an excellent game, and he has good chemistry with Aikman. Jimmy Johnson's entertaining and Bradshaw is actually not bad at calling highlights.

Most importantly, the FOX theme song is way better than the CBS theme song.

I think CBS does a better job , but i watch Fox more often. I'm in a market that doesnt have a home team , but my local cbs affiliate seems to have a fetish for the Tennessee Titans. I think we've gotten 5 Titan games , 3 Jaguar games , and one week had that shitty Miami/Giants game on the early/noon games.

But i agree with gyno , unless you want to watch a specific game , NFL Redzone is the only way to go.

Tom Brookshire and Pat Summerall was the greatest (imo) broadcast team of all time.

Brookshire was so phucking good it wasn't even funny.
