I'm curious to know. I've been a carrier for 31years. If you think it sucks, you're not going to hurt my feelings lol. Right now there are a lot of changes. Imo, all due to Amazon. Simply put, Amazon came along with their 2 day delivery and the po is not equipped to handle it. They could if they really wanted to but it has always been a poorly managed place, plus they know that Amazon can go to its own delivery service at any time. But the main reason I ask is this; there is a new environment now. I talk to a lot of other carriers about this. Now the customers hate us. I think it's due to the fact that there are so many Amazon packages. So now people get their mail late af. So what I would like you all to know is this; your carrier is going to try to get you your package. On time. Management, however, does not give a rat's ass. We all carry scanners now. All management cares about are thenumber of failures. That is, if a package is scanned delivered in the required time. It's all the same to them if it's scanned delivered and then thrown in the river. Whereas, the carrier probably knows you and is going to try to get you your package. That being said, some people get like 400-500 packages a year and are total assholes about it. Which in turn leads to a bad environment which has never really happened before. I never really had a problem getting along with people on my route before. But these are different times. That's why I'm asking what you all think. To try to get the customers perspective and make things better. Thanks for reading.
