Grey goose...then belvedere....kettle one....absolute....skyy. Drink only vodka all night...no hangover...no booze smell. Watch the kettle one seems to be the strongest...I will not drink it unless I have a designated driver!!

what's Kettle? Never heard of it.

Vodka and 7-up or Vodka and Pepsi are great drinks. I wonder why so many people mix Red Bull with vodka, but look at you funny if you mix soda with it.
vodka and pepsi? WTF!
kettle one is a brand of vodka silly.

Correct spelling is Ketel One.

I probably had 50 Vodka-7's over the Friday-Saturday of the September Bash.

Vodka seems to be the liquor that does the least damage the day after.

I still have about 3 bottles of Smirnoff wasting away in a cabinet. Have to throw a party just to get rid of it.

smirnoff is crap
I like it, it's the best of the vodkas before you go top shelf imo.
Give me Grey Goose everytime, but like I said, for value you can't beat it.

Absolut is overrated.

imo a lot of money is wasted on big name vodka. If you are mixing it you might as well get TAAKA for $10 for a 1.75 liter. I have bought it for years. Saw the other day where it had ranked very high in a taste test. Made me feel somewhat vindicated.

We have three couples that hang with us and we all make the drive up to Canada once a month to stock up on Stoli. The savings at Duty Free is Crazy.

A few months ago 20/20 had a segment featuring 10 yuppie, "vodka snobs" in their mid-to-late 20s who mostly swore by Grey Goose. They did a blind tasting panel and most of them unknowingly chose Smirnoff (triple distilled) as the best tasting one while heavily criticizing the Grey Goose and Belvedere. I keep a bottle of the Smirnoff triple distilled (1.75L for $13 at Costco) in my freezer and it's great for any mixed drink. Stoli is also very good for the money IMO.

GG's marketing is genious and have convinced millions of people to spend 3-times as much on their product than other brands of similar quality. You see the GG label and your brain tells you it tastes good even before it gets to your mouth. Most of the U.S. has the "label whore" mentality and overpay just in hopes of portraying an image to others.
