Parcells left him a salary cap mess, guy did good for what he had, also its hard to get good assistants to go to boston or newyork compared to SoCal.

He had the team 3 years and complete support from ownership. Whatever excuses you want to make really are moot at this point. Lets see what he does with this team. One win does not a season make. The PAC 10 is no day at the beach. I will say that I wish him luck.
