Bobby Cox, just imagine if the Braves had Bochy as their manger. They would have been the team of the nineties! All that pitching but a shit bullpen always did them in. Should have used Smoltz in the pen earlier, just like Bochy used Bumgarner!


Cox putting Charlie Leibrandt in to face Puckett in the 1991 ws may have been the worst move he made. Cost them game 6 and the series.

I had the Red Sox for the Series, and also Game 6.

Wife was in the back of the house all day.

I swear, she walked into the room 2 seconds before the ball went thru Buckner's legs.

I swear, I told her they would be talking about that moment for 50 years, told her to get TF out of the room, please. It didn't help.

But yes, Buckner was an above average fielder.

And removing Snell is the most recent, HUGE blunder in a big game.
