I recommend First Fidelity, never a problem with money! When you sign up tell them no phone calls and you'll be just fine! Other than agresive marketing they are at the top!

Pinnacle and Canbet are reliable also. And I would check out www.sportsbookreview.com if I were you. You'd probably want regulatory protection as well, which is nonexistent in Costa Rica. Australia and the UK are probably your safest bets.

Your only protection with Costa Rican books is the bookmaker's personal interest in not running off with your money. If business starts to go bad and they start thinking they might be better off just taking your money and running rather than continuing to stay in business, then there is no authority to stop them from doing so. The Costa Rican government is nothing but a lowlife, scamming, corrupt puppet factory. I know, I've been scammed about $20,000 by Costa Rican books. Stay far away!!!!

Only 2 books and one is WSEX. The other HAS to be Pinnacle IMO. By the way, WSEX is a great choice too.

Darryl,
Your statement:
"Your only protection with Costa Rican books is the bookmaker's personal interest in not running off with your money."

Is DEFINATELY not true in the case of Allworld, where more than 100% of the post up money (deposits plus winnings) is held in a trust account that is untouchable by the owners of the book...

This account is audited and individually verifiable at ********* . I am sorry that you have lost money at CR books but you probably were dealing with fly-by-night operations as I do not know of any recent failures of respectable books from Costa Rica.

please don't post url's.

thanks.

whyguy,

Clearly my bankroll is smaller than yours, but why send anyone 30k. Unless you plan on wagering that amount on any given weekend, why not simply send 10k at a time.

Pardon my ignorance, but unless there issome type of bonus incentive, I don't understand why anyone would send more than they plan on wagering on any given week. You can always reload if you lose.

The only book I have had that size balance is Heritage and I felt very safe with that amount.

I agree with Marc, no reason to send it all and park it offshore. Send enough for a week's bets and then reload as needed, they cover all deposit fees anyway.

But OLY would be my choice as its the only out I've had that much at.

Doesn't Fortknox have a list of whales, and only open the windows for football? Think they send you your money after football unless you want to leave it dormant. They head fishing. Probably some muscle there.

1k minimum on the phone I think I read.

Why would you send 30k to any book??? If I were to ever open a offshore account, it would be:
