What is the formula for figuring out how many round robin parlays you get out of a certain amount of teams. Such as how many different combinations are there if you take 12 teams and you want to have four team round robins?

If you want to make X team parlays out of Y selections, the formula is....

Y!/(X!*(Y-X)!)

where A! = A*(A-1)*(A-2)*...*2*1

eg. using 12 selections in 4 team parlays...

12!/(4!*(12-4)!) = 12!/(4!*8!) = 12*11*10*9/(4*3*2) = 11*5*9 = 495 four team parlays

123: If you must parlay, reduce number of teams, stick to 3-teamers, you'll be better off... lose less. At 4-teams is when the book reams you hardest vs. 3 teams.

The reasons not to RR a parlay are enormous. A 2 -teamer is fine with corelation, a 3-teamer is fine with great odds, little need to go past that !

Thank you guys. Not thinking about really doing it myself. I had a friend who thought there was a sure fire way to make money betting parlays. I told him he was wrong but I did not have the facts for him.
