Either watching ASU return a "meaningless" interception leading to a losing bet on SC in OT or Robin Ventura not running the bases so I could cash my over.

lol

mine would have to be 2-3 years ago I bet on Golden State -2. I had them in parlays straight...you name it. everything else hit!! iwas up for about a $2500 swing in the positive. THey led the game by 30 oints going into the 4th qtr. Last game on the books. Those fuckers scored 2 POINTS in the 4th qtr to go to OT and ended up losing. i was sick. A professional team scoring 2 pioints in the whole 4th qtr. anyone remember this game?

When UCLA played earlier this year in CFB and returned a first onside kick for a TD to give me what I thought was a cover...then the other team scoring with a few seconds left in the 4th to kill my cover...but then UCLA returning ANOTHER onside kick for a score to give me the cover. Two ONSIDE KICK returns for TDs? I had never even seen ONE until that game. That was one of my better orgasms, for sure. Titties.

I was on the other side of that one Skins. I had the 2nd-half under. It didn't upset me too much since I remembered losing a 2nd-half under on an NFL onside kick a couple years earlier.

I remember a couple years ago having the under for a WNBA 2nd half and counting it in the books since the Sparks were going to let the clock run out and the total score was 1 point under. The lady with the basketball was just dribbling. Then, at the last moment she took a shot and hit it with no one guarding her.

One other was a Houston Rockets under for the 2nd-half. They would have gone under by a couple points until they foul their opponent with 30 seconds left up by 10. Just let the guy make the fricken basket!! But that doesn't cause it to go over. Houston had to get a technical foul and the opponent made the basket to cause it to go over. For f's sake! How do you get a technical foul with less than 30 seconds left with your team up by 7????

Maybe not the craziest, but the first to come to mind. Andre Kiralenko with the Jazz up 12 points and 10 seconds to go, he goes down with nobody guarding him and dunks the ball making those that took the Blazers a loser.
What a shmuck.

Had to be close to ten years ago. Kansas State was playing someone (Colorado, perhaps) and needed 7 to cover. They score a TD with 0:02 left in the game. The 6 put them in the lead, so they didn't "need" the PAT. The QB (may have been Michael Bishop) took a knee on the PAT kick, incorrectly thinking that he'd run the final 2 seconds off the clock. KSU won, but did not cover.

I may have a detail or two wrong there, as I spent the next couple of hours in a catatonic state.

I had the over 57 very big bet for me....

East Carolina vs Southern Mississippi about 5 years ago...the score at the half was 31-20.

ZERO second half points.

a handful of years ago

I have Fullerton on the M/L AT HOME against Santa Barbara

Fullerton is down 2 with the ball and the clock winding down. the fullerton kid hits a layup w/1.2 sec and is FOULED. he makes the FT and now "we" are up 1 w/1.2 sec left and UCSB has to inbound the ball under their own basket and go 94-feet w/1.2 sec left

after the timeout - UCSB throws the ball down the court. 2 players go for it around the 3-point line - and I SWEAR this is what happened - i was at the game and saw it with my own eyes - i know!

The ball gets knocked away a few feet and bounces TWICE. the UCSB player picks up the ball, DRIBBLES the ball one time and casts of a Trey and HITS IT - and the refs COUNT the basket

go back and read that last paragraph and estimate how many seconds that would take - and ask yourself if that could be done in 1.2 sec - and i think we all agree that would take AT BEST 3-4 sec - if not more. guess the clock guy AT FULLERTON was either asleep or couldn't get the clock going and this is what happened

the 3 refs COUNTED the basket then ran off the court fast enough to take the top 3 spots at the US Olympic Trials

THE BIGGEST BULLSHIT call I have EVER SEEN - NOT EVEN CLOSE

couple goodones this year

there were some good ones this last year a couple come to mind nba eastern conf playoffs nets heat i had the heat in like a 6 game parlay just needed them to cover they are up like 9 only needed them to cover 7 i think but it dosent really matter there is like 3 seconds left nets inbound vinsainty (vince carter) jacks up a 3 from about half court and hits it no cover i was just in shock looking at the tv. then charles barkley says int he opening seconds of the post game show what the hell was that vince you jsut cost me some money then kenny the jet and ej and laugh and chuck was like thats not funny what the hell were you doing vince. another one that comes to mind was this year k state was playing some one i dont really remeber who the teams were i just remember checking in on the game and they were down 17 int eh 4th then score the garbage td no bog whoop then get a turnover and score again but with only like 1 min left then get onsides kick and score a td with no time left for the 3 pt cover i cleaned up it was great.

Those would be my two exact responses. I was a big loser in the football game but was on the fortunate side with the under in the baseball game.

Atlanta/Indy '93-'94 playoff game

Game played @ ATL

I think Indy is +5.5

Indy is going to lose by 4 with just about 2-3 seconds left

I'm so siked. I just won my HUGE bet. It's equivelent to a pay check. What a nice job I did picking Indy plus the points.

Indy has the ball too. It's a done deal. I'm so happy. I want to spoil my hot looking chubby ass G/F

OK lets inbound it, make it official.

Retarded ass Mookie Blaylock. Not only steals it. He chucks it in for 3 for good measure. Absolutely no one even trys to contest the shot.

What the hell. Talk about shock. To make it worse I was so dumb I paid for picks back then.

I'll never forget this one ...

It was a game between the Steelers and the Jags on Monday Night Football, back in '97.

I had Pittsburgh +4 .

So...the Steelers are trailing 24-21, and attempting a long field goal on the FINAL PLAY of the game.

At this point.. the only way I can lose this play is if the Jags block the field goal attempt, and run it back for a touchdown.
(which isn't necessary,since they're already winning)

You guessed it !...the attempt is blocked ,and ran back roughly 60 yards for a Jacksonville TD.

Final score 30-21.:pucking:
