Back in the Neteller/Pinnacle days 3-5k arbs were flying all weekend long. Personal bets were 500-2k. Usually 500. These days the most I bet is 250 because that is my limit in some places and I just don't have money to burn anymore. Moving money around really sucks as everyone knows, and my locals are getting old and I don't want them croaking when they owe me big for the week. This offshore gambling is just a hobby these days. Hell, I spend just as much time in my garden now.

Ages ago, it was around 10k or some shit like that on a Rockets game. I deposited $100 and ran it to $42k, something that I have never been able to do ever again. I lost everything. After I got to that level I thought I could never lose and ended up losing it all in less than a month.

$8000 at Pinnacle on the Dallas Mavericks to beat the Miami Heat in the 2006 NBA finals. Dallas was up 2-0 and had a 13 point lead with 5 minutes to go in game 3 before losing that one in overtime and losing the last 3. I promised myself to hedge 500 on Miami to win in 6 and 7 if Dallas won the first 2. That way I would at least get my money back. I changed my mind and just hedged it in 7 after reading all the stats about teams coming back and winning after being down 2-0. I figured if Miami won the series after being down 2-0, it would be in 7 games not 6 like it happened. Well, it was an $8000 mistake by changing my mind. I will never forget about that one.
$3300 to win 1k. Braves with Maddox pitching at home vs. lowly Tampa Bay back in late 90's. Book was "Island Casino" which, by the way, referred me to 5Dimes when the heat came down on Island.
I had been laid off at the beginning of summer and was collecting UI. I spent my days learning to cap MLB. It was like a job really. I had built a small deposit into 3.3k off of my own capping over the course of 6 weeks I think.
Anyway... friends call me to go out of a Friday night. I didn't cap any gms that day but I knew we would be a in a bar so I did a quick scan of the gms to see if anything looked good. Saw Maddux pitching at home and said... WTF. I will lay the juice and pick up an easy 1k.
Got to the bar and within minutes of arriving I see the Devil Rays have blown up Maddux in the first few innings. 7-0 I think it was. I went from calm and ready for a night out... to an absolute wreck. I tried to socialize but I had to watch that fckin nightmare unfold too. Terrible night. My entire summer's worth of hard earned and capped profit, out the window on terrible odds.

In a panicked chase I bet my remaining 3000 balance on the only remaining event of the night, a random west coast Lakers game. I took the Lakers -5. They trailed by double digits basically the entire game and still did with 4 minutes left. Then they went on an unbelievable run to end the game to win by 8. It was the biggest rush and relief I've ever felt in my life. Immediatley made a big withdrawal from my account the next day.
