i don't put a lot of stock in it, but i admit i do look at it. thing is you can never know the hold/money that books are taking.
Most of the sites that say they are showing the way the public is betting are only getting info from a very small group of books, and if you know the list it's a bunch of books that aren't generally regarded as being top books. With that said, you are only seeing the number of bets going each way, not the money/hold.

i used to use sportbookspy and now it just has a direct link through the pregame website, no having to sign in and all that garbage.

i like sports insights, mainly because they have archives that go back to 2003. i was researching the other day and found that in the first 8 weeks in cfb last season the public was 11-0-1 when backing a road favorite by 80% or more. the public got buried in this situation the last few weeks. then i looked at 2007 and the angle was below 50%....but i've found a few interesting angles like that by having the ability to go back and look at stuff.

SO is the best but if you don't want to pay, SBRodds.com is pretty good.
