I'm just a weekend hacker who just manages to stay in the 80's. But I had a 77 a few years ago at Westwood in Norman, Ok. I had a 34 on the front, but got about half drunk and shot a 43 on the back.

I suck at golf.

BBBBut a few years ago played in a scramble with a kid who was on a small Div college team and that kids father who is a local golf course pro at a community golf course. We were joined by the coach of the kid who played with us.

On a par 70 course we shot 20 under.

It was a pretty easy day.

I only hit off the tee on the par threes. it served no purpose for me to hit off the tee on the par 4's and 5's.

I bought a BUNCH of beer that day.

86 was my tops. I always had a decent short game and my drives are usually straight but only average around 250. I found myself losing yardage off the tee to stronger players and thus having a reduction of scoring ooportunites. Gotta get back out to the range one day and see if I can find an extra 25 yds off the tee.

never had a bad round!

Love the game like nothing else!

With that said I have never been below 93. It sucks, everytime I get down in the 90's I seem to have something happen and take a few years off. I have played maybe 6 rounds in 4 years currently.

but it was a par 71 course and it is probably the easiest course I have ever played on. i'm a 16 handicap so you would think I should average 88, +/- so many strokes. But I tend to shoot in hte 87 - 95 range.....this handicap stuff makees no sense....i'd guess I'm a 19

One over par for 9 holes and 4 over for eighteen...I was unfortunately by myself for the nine but the 4 over was in state championship.

Our local course let high school students golf for free, so I lived there in the summers. I haven't played in a few years but will play this summer.

It is a hard sport to stay on top of in the seasonal states. Every spring it feels like your starting over.

70... 2 under going into 8, bogey 8 and 9...3 under going into 17, bogey 17 and 18. Had a few 71s but the most memorable was a 31 40.. Can't close!!

78...

My handicap is 12.7 so a score of 78 is almost statistically impossible. However that day something came together, I couldn't miss a shot. Every tee shot landed in fairway, I was hitting 15 ft putts without a problem. My friends stared at me in complete bewilderment, as if the longer they stared they would be closer to figuring out how I was doing it. It was an amazing experience, especially to do it with guys I golf 15 rounds a year with

My round was similar. I had a 14 handicap back then, but was sinking long putts all day. All of the Par 5's were reachable on the course I played. And I hit it longer 10 years ago than I do now. So I was reaching all of the Par 5's. I was 3 under through the first 5 holes. And just pretty much played par and bogey golf the rest of the day, without any major blow ups. My playing partners and I usually give each other a hard time on the course. But for some reason they didn't have much to say that day...LOL. I think it's because I took all of the skins and greenies.

Just last year a 74 on a par 72 which is a full 12 or 13 shots better then my norm.

I let my friend borrow my new driver that I bought the week before to test to see if he would want one.
I went out to play with some friends and forgot that I let my friend borrow my driver.
So I was one club short in my bag and my 2 friends drivers were completely useless for my game.

So instead of not playing I played with 13 clubs that day.

Without my driver I had the best round of my life.

Maybe I should consider leaving that thing at home.

I have done zero of these things you speak of....maybe an eagle 2 on a par 4 but definitely no hole in 1s and never a -3
