i hear if bush is re-elected that he is going to start a serious crack down on offshore books. i don't all the details nor will i pretend like i do as so many people who post on here do, but i do think it is a serious concern that needs to be discussed. i don't know if it will affect the people that post up as much as it will for credit players that meet a runner on tuesday morning to either pick up or pay off i don't know. are they going to attack these runners like they attacked crack dealers in the late 80's early 90's. i guess it will be a wait and see type of thing. Bush is treating having a little fun betting on sundays like the proceeds are going to terrorist. this guy running our country is very confused.

HORSESHIT, HE COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE OFFSHORE BOOKS. JUST AINT GONNA HAPPEN, TRUST ME

are they going to attack these runners like they attacked crack dealers in the late 80's early 90's.
IF SO THEN, WHATS THE PROBLEM? CRACK DEALERS SEEMD TO SURVIE IT ALL, JUST TAKE A LOOK AROUND.

Bush is treating having a little fun betting on sundays like the proceeds are going to terrorist. this guy running our country is very confused.

BUHS HAS PERFORMED WELL, AND WILL BE REELCTED, BUT HE COULD GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE BOOKS THEMSELVES, HIS CONCERN IS MOST LIKELY MONEY RELATED TO LAUNDERING, THAT KINDA SHIT.

SO WHAT I SEE IN THE FUTURE IS GETTING THE FUNDS IN AND OUT OF THE BOOKS TAKIN A BEATING.

GOOD LUCK

When Bush is re-elected, you will see it very tough to send and accept funds out of this country! Right now its election time soon so he knows alot of gamblers offshore vote so we might be safe for another year!

Please note, I am of the REFORM party and have no DEM orREP affiliation.

Having stated that, it is without a doubt that offshore gambling will be under much more pressure if BUSH is re-elected.

ps- If this thread becomes to political, it shall be moved to the POLITICAL forum.

Fellas, cmon!!!!....you know for a fact that no matter who resides in the White House, nothing is going to change...If anything IMHO, I think things will get easier. Just look at what happening with Mexico...Now they can go in and out as they please??..No one sees the loop holes opening for money transfers??

You feeble minded spacewasters!!....Your missing the point...Whats to stop people from crossing the border and send money say from mexico as opposed to anywhere in the states...How is the US gonna stop them??...TLC regulations??....I dont think so!...The point is that you guys shake in your boots over a fart in the wind.

if you have a vote in the US, use it to get rid of Bush and his cronies.

I am from the UK and was in the Labour party until our Prime Minister started licking Bush's arse.

How many people are going to mexico just to send money to an off shore book? I hear every day how hard/pain in the a$$ it is to send western union.

There will always be ways to get money offshore. One needs to have patience and learn to plan in advance to be ready for such trouble sending money.

what is next for offshore books?

I would like to see several of the top tier books band together and against the rogue books and even have sections on their websites detailing scam or shady operations.

Just a reminder that all such talk by either GW Bush or any other politician is just so much fanfare to draw attention to their virtuous side.

Anyone who understands the legislative process knows that the real law gets made in the trenches by congressional staffers and managers.

You can 'bet' heh, that a large percentage of these folks are routine offshore players themselves.

Meanwhile, yeah, there could be more scrutiny on money going offshore via banks and wire services.

But if you want to avoid scrutiny, just get a money order and send it snail-mail for about a buck in postage.

It would likely take 7-10 days to get deposits confirmed and assured, but it's done.
