college by far

great example is Cal/Oregon tomorrow - it's only week 5 and losing this game will ruin one of their seasons. Could be the difference of playing in the BCS Championship game, Rose Bowl, or the Holiday Bowl.

NFL teams can lose 3-4 games in a row during the regular season and still make the playoffs with a shot at winning the Super Bowl

college football and basketball are the top sports in the country, with college basketball taking the crown.

Like college better for the most part, but there is more parity in the NFL.

That is a tough question....I am going to say college b/c the students make college football what it is today and they are fanatics...pro football is exciting to but the atmosphere is a little more subdued.

Used to be College, hands down, then they decided to put the cheerleaders in sports bras and put the NFL back in the running.

The college game. You have so many more teams and different offensive and defensive schemes.

The NFL lacks variety currently. Twenty years ago, there were teams that ran two TE sets and the Run & Shoot as their primary offense.

College football by far. It is one of my favorite things in the world. I have tried to get into the NFL but I just don't give a shit. It's just boring to me.

Out of the 45-50 lined college games tomorrow, 19 have a spread of 9.5 or less. Out of the remaining 25-30, the majority of the dogs have little chance of winning straight up. The college atmosphere can't be beat, even at smaller schools, but nothing beats the NFL for competition.

West Virginia's aspirations for a national title are over and it's only week 5. If the Colts or Patriots lose this weekend would they give up hope of winning the Super Bowl?

Bottom line: Every week is essentially the playoffs for the top BCS teams.

Who play 7-8 home games and 4-5 road games. Pros are 8-8.
