Nice read....as far as poker goes, BOTH online and B&M poker will survive. Poker is largely a social game and this CANNOT be simulated (well) online.

Online poker will be very popular for years to come due to the cost and convenience. Most of the players in the US live no where near (less than an hour away) a legal card room.

As far as sportbooks go, we know that story all too well.

Online gambling can never be done away with. It will continue to thrive because there is nothing as convenient as logging in online, viewing lines, and getting down on games at the click of a button.... Unless Uncle Sam somehow blocks these websites.

There always be a place for live gaming because nothing can compare to it until holodecks like on Star Trek are created and indistinguishable from real life...it's just like anything that real is better...online only has business because of convenience when it not convenient to go to the casino people will just pay online...same thing when a real girl not available you have to settle for online porn...
