An "if win" bet is something you can select to minimize losses... for example... say you want to play the yankees ml and the rangers ml, but dont want to risk losing both.... you play the yankees ml, then select the rangers ml as an "if win", which means the rangers bet only takes action if the yankees bet wins.... if the yankee bet loses your ranger bet doesnt take action and you do not gain or lose money on that bet.....
Not true it MAY be able to. It all depends on what the first bet is.
Example
you bet the first game and you put $140 to win $100 on the Phillies and they win.
Your 2nd part of your 'if' bet can only be for a total of $240 ($140 + $100 you won). So whatever you bet you can only bet a total of $240. It could be $215 to win $100 on Dodger game. Thus betting a -215 fave.
if win bets can be made if boths start at same time or 2nd team can start in afternoon and 1st team can start at night. all it means is you have a bet on the next team if the preceding bet wins. you can play 2nd team with more juice by betting flat bets on all teams (risk instead of wager). also there if a if win or tie bet which means you have action on 2nd team if 1st team ties. on a if win only if you push the 1st bet all other bets are cancelled and you get your money back.

1st team wins = 100.00 win, 2nd team wins = 100.00 , 3rd team wins = 100.00 win. total + 300.00
1st team wins = 100.00, 2nd team wins = 100.00, 3rd team loses = -110 lost. total +90.00
1st team wins = 100.00, 2nd team loses= 110.00 lost. total -10.00
1st team loses = -110.00 lost. no action on 2nd team as 1st bet lost.
