What is all of this "rights" stuff?

Gay rights indicates that gays have or had no rights. What rights are gays being denied?

Womens rights indicates that women are being denied rights. What rights are women being denied?

I do undersatnd a concept called human rights where all people are extended the same "equality of rights" for all.

What I find fascinating is that "gay" or "womens" rights indicate that someone or some group is not being extended the same "rights" - upon reflection I must agree that some segments of society are in fact being denied certain "rights"

I see that babies in the womb are denied a right to life, liberty and any persuit of hapiness - any of them may be murdered for any reason at any time without any right to a fair and impartial hearing.

I see that those people who try to practice Christianity suffer an unending barrage from the secular humanist fascists who would deny any and all rights to those who believe in God.

I see those who would scrifice to earn more would be taxed at a higher rate while those who do nothing to better themselves would gain from that taxation. Where are the rights of the meritorious people who oversee the engines of industry? Why should they be taxed at all for their sacrifice?

The left would define "rights" in their own terms while denying the rest of us any say in the matter - where are our rights?

at federal level no

business owners etc will put up a fight if they disagree enough....'

as a business owner you should be able to turn someone down for whatever they please its THEIR business regardless if they are gay haters

plus if they turn down these people and enough people get pissed off then it will effect their business

and the problem i have with it is the system promotes things

liberalism and the breakdown of family is a big big issue that is ruining our country to its core

values have changed from family and saving for the future.....to lots of debt and i need lotsa nice stuff

that might be okay for the economy in the immediate future but its disasterous for our long term stability....education is going in the gutter for instance due to the breakdown of family

i mean if you gay fine be gay do your thing etc....

but all these gay rights leads to the recent SF thing with people making out with jesus hating rallies....i mean i'm not gonna say they aren't free to do it....but society and government as a whole promotes this behavior

i mean if heterosexuals did the same thing people would be appauled and wouldn't allow it to happen

as far as the entitlements like with race just leads to keep the blacks down....welfare keeps people down.....it promotes laziness...it promotes a system where i'm entitled to something rather than going out working hard and getting it....

bottom line D2 liberals really need to take a second look at their liberal mentality as far as imposing it on society as a whole....its not about i don't accept it....its just it promotes it and really has an effect on our countries long term stability when you get down to it....

long term its bad bad news and this goes beyond race and sex

huge divorce rate if i don't like my wife get rid of her
if i can't pay my mortgage get rid of it
if i can't pay off my car get rid of it

one thing leads to another and is causing our country ruin

my grandparents generation were tradional family....they worked hard, saved hard, invested hard, and raised a well educated family that ended up having a better life before them

whereas those kids the baby boomers.....became sex hippies and liberated and divorce shot the moon....and it was me, me, me, today, today, today, spend, spend, spend, need, need, need.....kids and countries future has been put way down the line of importance

and for this is a big reason is why all the tizgloomy stuff i rant about has built up....all the bad debt problems we now dealing with....negative savings rate.....etc...etc...

its all social engineering for near term economic gains that is causing long term economic instability
