yes, Vegas gets overrun with a sea of small stupid bettors for March Madness.

if you are wondering why the books shade the lines, from their point of view, why offer a favorite -4 when you can offer them -5 and still get a sea of square action -5 from people who are dumb and have no idea. This isn't a mistake by the book or an SIA type line, they know exactly what they are doing.
What they're doing is opening themselves up for trouble.

They're going against the market to profit more off of Mr. $20/game Tourist. When sharps come in and take the +EV side to the limits, scalping the number, they will lose long term.

Vegas is betting SIA numbers but without the $1100 limit. That's heaven to me.
