There is obviously more to it on when to call and when not too - to anyone with the most novice poker skills, it was apparent that many many players there were playing scared and this was likely due to the amount it costed to buy in.

IF you normally play $5-10 games and now you pony up $10,000 you will be scared.

Dan N must have said or implied this 10 times at his table - if the $10K means a lot to you, you can't call...

For many of the people playing, this was the equivalent of playing blackjack at a level where you are scared to double, split, or raise the bet on a good count...

I agree that some people play scared and you have to push them around
But alot of these people think they are a lot better than they actually are, won a satlite for 20 bucks and play as loose as usual.
