what I did on my 48 hour vacation

watched the Red Sox beat the Yankees twice

hosted a July 4th party, where we all thought the pool sure did "look nice"

got bitched at by my wife (didn't need a vacation for this)

made my wife happy, so she'd shut up for a few days

went to see fireworks (it stopped raining for a few hours)

since it's raining on Saturday, went to work for a few hours. Very productive 5 hours (thanks Wil)

I too, can only generate a few days of happiness at a time, and was wondering if there's anyone out there who can give any tips or pointers to help produce an entire week of happiness?

I went on a 23 mile hike on the 2nd and 3rd with a 30 lb pack with an ex marine. We walked 14 miles the first day.The last 7 were up hill.

how much weight did you lose?

I don't have a scale at home,but I went on a diet and lost 15 lbs. in April.225 down to 210. It feels like i lost more but I don't know. I weigh myself at the local Ymca.
I did another 4 mile hike this afternoon with my dog and a 25 lb weight vest.
Took my BP this am and it was like 120/72 with a pulse rate of 45 beats per minute.
Not bad for 52 year old ex drunk.
