Id like to fly out for 2-3 days in the next 2-3 weeks, what hotel(s) do you know of offering the best deals right now? I typically stay at the Venitian or TheHotel at Mandalay Bay.

Southwest Airlines has a great deal right for flight and hotel, basically a 2-for-1 rate. I booked a stay last week that had flight and hotel for about $150 less per person that airfare alone booked through the main SWA site.

A little more information and a link on my site:

I don't even know how to navigate myself through that site. TMI for me to process.

Venetian has some great offers right now. If you are a club Grazie member, they are doing between 2-4 nights free, plus $50 a food credit, and $100 in match play/slot credit, per day.

I personally would pass on Bally's.The once great race/sports book is still closed I believe.Paris, which is where they will tell you to go if you want to place a few bets,is a total joke.

Planet Hollywood is a pretty good stop on the strip.

Downtown, The Golden NUgget is like $40 a night.

Off strip,The M,Green Valley Ranch,South Point(very reasonable) & Red Rock Station age great places to stay & play.Comps are much more liberable with these places.Good race/sports books & nice pools.

The Sahara is another Strip hotel that always has low rates. It's a pretty good spot with a fun crowd, but, while it's nice enough, it's a couple of steps down from the Venetian.

Almost EVERY hotel is giving good rates. You just have to ask.

I just got back from an 11 day stay with 3 nights at Sam's Town, and 7 nights at the Silverton. Silverton is really an up and coming hotel and not only has a free aquarium, but has a large Pro Bass Shop on the freeway side of the casino.

I learned to play Texas holdem(2-4 limit @):)) at the Sahara and used to stay there in the early 80s. At one time, the House of Lords used to be the best restaurant(my opinion) on the strip. I just got four free nights(Lanai Suite) at the Las Vegas Hilton the week after the bash. :>(

Yeah I really liked The Silverton when I stayed there a few years ago.

If they only had a real race/sports book I would definately stay again.

I really seem to like the places on the outskirts of town-Sunset Station,The M,Red Rock,Silverton.I always have a car,so I'm all over the place anyway.
