The Rule adjustments have added to the scoring and continue to help the offenses ... the teams with the best QB will continue to win the most games

NOT SURE DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS will apply this year!!!!!!!

Not so sure about this. Come the playoffs, defense will still win it. Look at Denver last year, put up points on everyone then got shut DOWN by the Seahawks. Same thing will happen this year. Teams will revert to the run game and you won't see these 45-31 scores, it will be old school 21-17 games again come January.

Why would they change something that has worked for them all season long ?

as far as Denver, they are a different team. This season they have a good defense.

fantasy games have record high scoring

used to be 95 points was enough to win most games (traditional scoring, no flex)

now it's at least 10 points higher, crazy

There isn't a great team in the NFL this year. But there sure are a lot of crap teams.

Not saying that it's a 100% universal truth but come playoff time teams DO change to be more defensive even if offense has been working for them all year. Because they are facing tougher defensive opposition too. Things get tighter, tensions rise and coaches are more locked in. This applies to most sports. Look at the NBA, teams that are winning games 105-103 in the regular season because no one plays D until the last 4 minutes all of a sudden start winning games 88-87. In soccer we saw lots of high scoring in the World Cup, especially from Germany and Argentina, yet the final was 1-0 in OT. Look at NHL hockey Stanley Cup playoffs, lots of 2-1 games. This week we have multiple NFL games lined at 57+... you will NOT see that no matter what matchup in the playoffs. Defense still wins championships, even in this 'new' passing league. Just my opinion though, time will tell.
