This individual is obviously lost. Advocating for equality, clean air, & helping others in need has absolutely nothing to do with being a strong individual or 'growing a pair'. Educate yourself on politics if you want to express an opinion....Sad.
The pretense that we're advocates for pollution and we're NOT advocates for helping others is where your argument is simply categorically incorrect. That's superficial bullshit, and you're begging the question to begin with so stop pretending you're making some intellectual argument.
Who doesn't want a clean planet? Seriously? There's nothing of substance to this position of yours. Like everything else, a clean environment starts at home, and I'm going to suggest it's the liberals and the democrats that have created and inhabit the least environmental friendly neighborhoods in the country.
Helping others? We have a different approach. Growing the economy and creating jobs is how you lift people out of poverty. Handouts create poverty, and it shows when you look at all the democratic cities and states. In CT, democrats like to argue we "don't do enough" for the poor, much like you do. They cite the disparity between wealth and impoverished. The truth is we're very generous and we're doing too much. The more comfortable you make living on social assistance, the more poverty you create and attract. Just look at what's going on in all the left coast cities.
Are you talking about the border? Well we're the most generous country on earth, giving more than the rest of the world combined. And we're enabled to do so because of our economic might created by capitalism and enabled by our constitution. If we ignore our laws, if we simply open our borders to everyone, we won't be able to sustain our economic strength and when that happens we'll be fighting to provide for ourselves and we won't be able to help anyone else.
Liberals want to undo everything that made this country GREAT, and if it wasn't GREAT, then why are people trying to come here?
