What happens to Teasers & Parlays for MNF?

I have a few parlays and teasers from over the weekend that include the Fins -3. Do those get canceled as well? What are all of the books doing regarding them?

Parlays will probably go back to the last bet you had. For instance if you had a 4 team parlay and the last leg was Miami then you will get paid for a 3 teamer. If you had a 3 teamer and both legs won you will get paid for a 2 teamer. Of course that's assuming the earlier legs of the parlay had won, if one of the earlier legs lost then you had a loser already. If you had a 2 teamer then you will just get paid same as a straight bet if the 2nd half was tied into this game.

Of course this is not official, I would encourage everyone to contact the book they have their wagers at. Nothing like getting information straight from the horses mouth. Especially when you have your money at stake.

I highly doubt anybody is going to give you a straight wager payout on a two team teaser when you were getting points in the first game! More likely that it will either be a refund or they will allow you to replace the Miami/SD team selection.

Hey Surf, what's up my man? We would like to answer your question, as we belive it's one of interest for all our players.

With us, it works just a s Pat says (pretty much the standard): If you had a 2T Parlay, being the Fish one of the legs, the play will revert down to a straight wager. Any 3T or higher will revert down to next lower level of parlay: a 3TP reverts down to a 2TP, a 4TP reverts down to a 3TP and so on.

In the case of having a teaser, you now have an open spot in the play. Please call in with the new pick.

Sorry guys, maybe I'm wrong, but I don't agree with this. I believe all wagers should stand and you should get the line you originally wagered on. Here's my arguement....... Example: When we, the bettor, take a team, let's say, -4, and just before game~time, the teams star QB gets scratched from illness, etc.........Are the books going to say "Hey, they took the team at -4 , since something unexpected came up, we better give them the line at a pick'em?.

A player not playing is hardly comparable to a change of venue that removes home field advantage, especially when the site is moved this far away. If the game were still being played in San Diego, but just at a different stadium, most likely original bets would still be honored.

Due to the site change on Monday Night's Football game between Miami and San Diego, Las Vegas rules provide that all wagers (at San Diego) are no action. All open two team teasers are graded as a push regardless of win or loss. All remaining teasers and parlays are reduced by that leg. Void funds are available now for re-investment.

I've seen this line in many posting forums last night and today "Las Vegas rules provide that all wagers placed prior to today are graded as no action." That's pretty innaccurate.

It's true at the Stardust and other Boyd Gaming properties, and at Mandalay Bay and the Imperial Palace. But an equal number of books let all bets stand as written since their house rules only address date changes and not site changes. Those books included the Park Place group (Caesars, Bally's, Paris, Las Vegas Hilton, Flamingo, et al), Coast Casinos (Orleans, Gold Coast, Suncoast, Barbary), Station Casinos, Leroy's outlets.

There is no standard "Las Vegas rules"...each book sets its own house rules.
