You will get a lot of calls and letters. They will call your place of employment. They will do what they can to pressure you into making a payment.

...That's about it. Besides having your credit ruined of course. Which in 7 years you can just start over with a clean slate. (statue of limitations)

It will haunt you for a long time. Seriously consider the ramifications. You will not be able to obtain credit of any kind without paying exhorbatant interest rates.

I fucked myself at a young age and it took me until I was in my 30's to get to "A" credit.

Ramifications aside, I may not have a choice.

If I default, they can call my place of employment all they want to...they are the main problem.

Screw the whole bunch of them

So basically you are saying you are going to steal from the people
you bought goods/services from.

I would encourage you to rethink this despicable behavior.

Be a part of the solution to the problems in this country, and
not a part of the problem.

Have some personal honor, character and integrity.

That 7 yr statute of limitations only means that they have no legal recourse after that but they will continue to sell the debt (for pennies) and they will haunt you to your grave.

Well, keep on doing the right thing, and in the long run, you will
be a better person for it.

I didnt feel bad for what I did. You dont give 5000$ credit cards to a 20 year old kid making 10 bucks an hour. This was like 15 years ago. But I'm just say'n.

I have no desire to fill out a credit ap of any kind these days I am happy with all my reports saying I owe nothing and using cash.

yeah, I'll be a better homeless person with a cup in my hand. Can you lend me $250 Fester?

Are you that bad off? You said you were employed, why not get another
part-time job to take you over the hump?

I worked 3rd shift during college to pay for school, it all depends on
how bad you want it.

working nights to pay for school is one thing. Breaking your ass to pay WAMU and Capital One is another.

It bad enough these bastards in Washington squander my tax money on bailouts and welfare. Now they are gonna reward cats for not paying their mtg? Obama will enact legistlation to prevent them from being evicted/foreclosed on?

I got my social security report in the mail. I have paid over $26,000 into the pot and am damn sure I will never see a dime

What the fuck?

You're preaching to the choir about being raped by the US Government
Ponzi scheme of Social Security - as well as the BS taxes they take
from us to pay for their BS and corruption.

I just think that not paying your credit card is a really bad idea.
