Once the leader, the example of great customer service..... Now to this??

I went to log in to see some futures and my account was "disabled due to inactivity"

I admittedly haven't played there in a while. Mostly because a local is 100x more convenient, and also because they were on this cold calling spree, and I hate that. I refuse to give business when they cold call me. This may come into play...

But anyways, so I go on live chat, and they tell me to call in... So I do... I tell them my problem... paraphrasing the rest of the convo...

Heritage: Well once you deposit, we'll unlock your account and you can see the lines.
Me: Well, I'd like to see the futures before I deposit.
Heritage: Without a deposit, I can't
Me: Can you just tell me some lines on some specific team futures
Heritage: No.
Me: You understand that is ridiculous. Why would I deposit there if I don't know what line I'm getting
Heritage: No I don't think that's ridiculous ....

Me: :monsters-

Dumbfounded. Like Customer Service is the basis of your job. It's not hard to provide good customer service on a post up book. You use to be the leaders in the industry and now you do stuff like this? Anyways, the inacitivity very well could be true, but at the same time, I imagine it's because I called in and asked them to stop calling me. The Calls stopped, but now my accounts locked.

How has heritage's customer service been for you?

IMO it's the offshores behavior, ignorance, and lack of character that has speed up their decline...

I've never had any real issues with them. I thought it was kind of unfair that they wouldn't allow me in some contests because I hadn't made a deposit in a long time, but other than that, no real problems.

Funny you bring this up. I was gonna start a thread on this but forgot. I got a call from them the Saturday before the tourney started inviting me into their free tournament pool. I figured just a nice gesture being I had just lost a little. Two days later I log in and attempt to sign up, and the note says I am not eligible. I get on life chat and they tell me I needed to have a month of consecutive play. So why call me and invite? Seems like a cheap way to get another deposit.

Contact their board rep. He'll probably help you out. I don't know if they post here or not though.

I think there is more pressure and stress on a lot of the
employees at some of the top shops. With the way the
climate is now. And I think it just trickles down.

Been solid for me since BetJam went down. I do notice if I don't wager much, typically during baseball season, they will start calling me. That does get irritating.
