What ever happened to Rx Poker night?

Did I miss the thread where this fell through? I know we took a vote which night we wanted tournament night.

I saw another forum having poker night and I was curious if they took idea from Rx.

No idea, I'm not sure if there was enough consistent interest. I do nothing with my life, so I'd definitely be down for it again. Seems like it just fell through, though.

we just couldnt get a time that agreeable to enough people...to late for the east coasters was ....to early for the west....last time we had it there was only 6 in....although i had my best finish ever..6th..lol by the way i also looked at the other forums game tonight and they are having the same problems plus a few more..tech, funding, time, etc...its just hard to please everyone..

We could always revisit the idea. The main obstacles are:

1) Where do most people play? Very few seem to post up someplace else for a tourney. Doyles? Stars? Party?

2) What night? I would think Tues or Wed would be best

3) What time? 10pm est\6pm pst or 9est\5pm pst?

Let's hear some feedback from those who are really willing to play.

I'll vote 10pm est on Wednesdays-Stars or Doyles.

i would like to see this get off the ground because it might just shed some light on the age-old discussion of the bot...fixed..rigged...colusion of online poker..it would be a good test...much like a placebo...if you will...

i can assure u in the 5 or 6 tournys we had none of this was ever an issue....they were WELL played by some VERY good players..as tough a tourny as you'll find anywhere...and with the likes of inside the pylons, matt24 and ttinco, to name a few offhand , as good a players as you'll find anywhere also

I would be in on any night...I prefer Sun night over any.

Maybe a site would sponsor additional weekly and yearly prizes...It would be really cool to see a running leaderboard at Rx.

As an east coaster a 10pm EST start on a weeknight would be the latest I'd be able to play, otherwise most anytime on a weekend. I'm up for PokerStars, Party or anywhere else the majority has accounts.
