On a different note: NES, where are you? As one of the funniest posters on one of the funniest threads in this forum in recent years, there's a need for you in another thread now...

Hi Bigbet (and others),
I'm still around and alive, if not as active on the forums as in the past. I did the ghost thing for a while but found it kind of unproductive. Still check in on various forums about once a week but am not as into them as I was back in the "salad days".

Lots of good people I was fortunate to meet, and lots of good times that I remember.

What I'm doing now;
left my job as poker/race/sports director shortly after a large corporation tookover my property and I had major philosophical/financial differences with them (in Vegas).

did a lot of travel both within and outside the country. Enjoyed immensely different cultures and meeting different people.

Still drink way more than I should and am pretty much the same crazy drunk most of you have met.

Lost a lot of my love for mainstream sports with my job and focused on fringe stuff but still enjoy competition, the thrill of beating the odds, etc.

Things have changed a lot in the forums, as a lot of us have changed. Both for the good and the bad.

Best wishes to all of you and remember the good times, there were many.

Thanks for stopping by.

You never know what the future of land based sports books may hold. Give me a heads up if your ever in FLA, or thinking about coming out of retirement.
