What does "dime line" mean?

It simply means the underdog price is a $10.00 difference. For example, Yankees -160 playing Toronto at +150 as opposed to say a 20 cent line where Toronto would only be +140. Obviously, if Toronto wins you collect $150 plus your $100 bet as opposed to getting back only $140 on the 20 cent line. You can see that this is a huge difference in the long run.
