i dont like it because of what it really is....The first step in phasing out US customers. Don't beat me for saying it but thats what it is. They are integrating the information all the new canadian and asian customers need.

The pending button is no longer there to click on. When something was pending it used to give you the status.

The only way to keep neteller is for the senate voting nay or it getting pushed all the way to a new democrat era. Neteller already stopped serving Maryland customers after feeling the heat and no Canada gov are phasing out advertising to us in the US.

I'm suprised we dont talk about this more. We very well may be able to keep wagering but without neteller as a financial vehicle it may not work out for many of us. Book strength will diminish except for pinnacle who will be everyone's main out.

I like the new format and the display is adjustable to show whatever transactions you wish

As far as the Kyl bill goes, Neteller is not a US based company and is not compelled to follow or be goverened by this legislation in any way whatsoever

Dozer, why do you feel Pinnacle will be everyone's main out? I can't get any information from them on how they plan to conduct business if the legislation is passed. I received this reponse from Carla at Pinnacle Customer Service:

"Sir,

Pinnacle Sports is licensed by the government of the Netherlands Antilles and provides a service based on the laws and regulations of this country.

We suggest you contact your local government regarding new legislation that may be in effect or passed in the future.

We would not comment on laws passed by another state.
Regards,

Customer Service Department
Pinnacle Sports"

How does this put them in a better postion than other offshore books?

One thing you have to know about Pinnacle is their HMFC is one secretive Mutha****a. Henri is very guarded in everything he says (and does not say). If you were to ask him what color socks he is wearing, he would tell you (in a whispering voice) that he can not comment on his socks. As for the color of your socks, you are on your own to decide what color to wear. This goes strait down to the Pinnacle janitor emptying the trash at night. That is the kind of non-responsive response you should expect from these guys. It is business as usual.

In the mean time, they are working their asses off trying to attract non US customers. They are very cognizant of the impending restrictions on money transfers.

neteller already has prohibited maryland from wagering and since opened up to other foreign publics.

Kwalder,

I think Pin will get strnger in this event because...

They have a stable customer base outside US players.

They are the cheapest so after you take out the bonus effect with not being able to move funds you want to land at the books that have good price with a strong financial backing not relied on your banned country. For example canbet would be screwed as is currently.

Pinnacle will offer everything to everybody. How you take advantage of it is your problem. I recieved more detailed email from them but thats the attitude.

Though a factual statememnt everfresh, neteller would feel the heat and be compelled to oblige any serious dilogue on the matter from the US. I wish it were as easy as saying

General is right. If NETeller didn't care about US law, then why did they cease transactions in Maryland??

By the way, the change is fine and still works like normal, so no problems.
