What do you guys wager on in the summer when most of the European football leagues are on hold? Allsvenskan? Tippeligaen? Veikkausliiga? Others? Wimbledon? Tour de France? Or du you perhaps try your luck in MLB?

Personally I've always had big problems with the Swedish Allsvenskan and Norwegian football isn't really my thing. I have a power ratings system that should work pretty well in a league with few goals like the Finnish Veikkausliiga so I think this league will get the most of my attention this summer

Other than that I like to place a few Wimbledon-bets. I don't know much about tennis so I usually follow advice from experts like the guy from Onthepunt.com or my countrymen from Tennisbetters.dk.
I also take a stab at the MLB once in a while. When this happens I follow McIrish from the RX, 'Devil Rays" from Oddsnet.com or 'Henne' from Tipsomtips.com

Btw, I know I'm a big time square and I'm proud of it

I bet on anything these days.
I literally have to force myself into a holiday from time to time.

I have a power ratings system that should work pretty well in a league with few goals
Can you tell me more about this?
I mainly wonder why it does not work in a League with many goals.

Finland and Norway are good choices IMO,I believe Swedish leagues are much more unpredictable.

Intertoto is the best choise for this time of the year,US bookies avoid offering lines for it.

Wow, I thought I was the only guy outside of Australia that bet on Aussie Football.

Strangely enough, I've found that a lot of my methods for American football work out for rugby and Aussie football with a few tweaks.

My humble system is an "extended version" of the real-life point system. The difference is, that it doesn't just give the winning team 3 points no matter which team the opponent was, but it accounts for the strength of the opponent, home/away and the winning margin. This makes the system sensitive to "freak" results which, other things beeing equal, happens more often in leagues with a lot of goals.
I don't even know if the system works but it served as a great guideline during last season and hopefully will do so again next season.

Hi Duck, during summer i like baseball as always. it's my favourite sport. i like to watch it, to cap it and to bet it and usually it's the most succesful part of my betting year.
sometimes i thinks it's even an advantage in capping MLB if you are not to close to it and get to many information. you are more "neutral" in your analyse.
It's a different situation to all our domestic soccere league, where there is only one game per week for a team and every league got it'S special tendencies.
One in a while i bet on other sports if i like a situation, but only for fun and with no hard work analysing it.

BTW, if you look for a good tennis-analyse week in and week out: Tennis. This guy has great inside info about almost every tennis match and produces solid results.

See you all in the MLB-forum or in a couple of weeks in our soccer-leagues.

I'll bet on anything that moves. A few baseball plays here and there and the CFL in spots. There are some good betting opportunities in the MLS and some golf and tennis. Like I said, anything that moves.

I'm just looking forward to August 16. The start of the English Premier League.
