Off to a nice start so far... but I, myself, wont be happy till EVERY politician is behind bars or kicked out.

then we can get some actual REAL Americans, who know about the problems REAL Americans are having. Then maybe we can get something done to help this country.

As it stands right now, all we have to choose from are businessmen, lawyers and such. Who grew up with money and not knowing what it is to "need" something, as they never struggled a day in their life.

Kick them all out and put them behind bars, everyone of them is a crook who is taking money under the table from people with more $$ then them, and doing what they are told.

They are supposed to WORK FOR US, not for whoever is lining their pockets or contributing the most to their campaigns

Good to see corruption rooted out whenever possible, and glad the FBI, like the IRS, is non partisan, and is going after Dems under a Dem administration, with an Obama appointed FBI Director.

That's what the focus of the Tea Party is all about...getting back to the fundamentals of what the forefathers really intended 'public service' would entail. After all, there's a reason why so many politicians today spend millions of dollars to campaign for a job that offers a base salary of a few hundred grand.

Are they all bad? Nah. I think the vast majority are self-serving scumbags, but there are likely a very small few who really do want to perform their jobs to the best of their abilities. Trey Gowdy comes to mind.

Funny you mentioned the silver spoon sector of our government. Our current Dear leader grew up attending expensive and exclusive private schools ever since he was in grade school, was accepted into Harvard law school because of his skin color, had a long list of law firms who wanted to hire him before he even graduated, was handed seats on both the state and US Senate after accomplishing absolutely nothing of value, was elected president...and yet he and his wife still consider themselves victims of a racist society.

I'm not sure if this country will ever return to what our forefathers intended, but I can guarantee those in power won't concede very easily.

Very skeptical of the timing. Cleaning out the rats nests of corrupt Dems. well before the election cycle starts up in full gear. Remember when the lowly scumbag Dems. tried to paint the GOP as the party of 'the culture of corruption'?

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (AP) — Prosecutors have agreed to a request that an ailing former Pennsylvania senator in a federal prison on corruption charges to be temporarily released for an examination by his own doctors. Know any citizens receiving this courtesy? :think2:

Attorneys for 85-year-old Raphael Musto say he has cancer and may have as little as two months to live.

Musto was being evaluated at a North Carolina federal medical facility after a judge in January declared him mentally unfit to stand trial.

His lawyers want Musto to be released so he can be examined by his northeastern Pennsylvania oncologist. Prosecutors on Monday said they won't fight that request.

Musto is in custody on charges he accepted cash and other perks for helping obtain taxpayer money for development projects, and took additional cash for helping a municipality get state loans.

He was charged in 2010 and is still collecting his 6 figure pension which will go to his wifey....... this was his assigned camp.......

Federal Medical Center, Butner (FMC Butner): a facility which houses inmates of all security levels with health issues. It is the largest medical/psychological complex in the entire federal prison system and includes a drug treatment program.

An $11 million sewer project that received state funding following an alleged bribe paid to former state Sen. Raphael Musto continues to cause problems for the municipality, according to documents!

During a brief court hearing, U.S. District Judge A. Richard Caputo ordered Musto's immediate release from a federal medical prison in North Carolina, where the judge had sent Musto for evaluation after determining he was not competent to stand trial on corruption charges.

Read Musto's doctor's letter

"It's obvious this is a dire circumstance," Caputo said of Musto's rapidly deteriorating health.

Former state Sen. Robert J. Mellow tapped a campaign fund meant for 2010 political election campaigns to pay one of his defense lawyers last year.
The fund, called Campaign 2010, transferred its last $68,961.95 to Friends of Bob Mellow, the senator's chief campaign committee, on April 17 of last year. The same day, Friends of Bob Mellow paid attorney Daniel T. Brier exactly $70,000.
It was easily the biggest expenditure of the year for Friends of Bob Mellow, which had a balance of more than $1 million when the senator was at the height of his power as Senate Democratic leader. The committee reported having only $21,110.43 left at the end of 2013.
Mellow faces a trial on state corruption charges later this year.
Campaign finance experts question whether using campaign funds to pay criminal defense lawyers is legal. Under state election law, campaign money is supposed to go toward influencing the outcome of an election, though the experts acknowledge campaigns sometimes use money for legal fights.
Brier said he and attorney Sal Cognetti, who was paid $700,000 almost three years ago by Friends of Bob Mellow, relied on a campaign finance expert to ensure the payments from the campaign funds were legal.

The FBI could spend a couple months doing daily raids in Rhode Island.

They just got the House Speaker a couple of weeks ago. He was more powerful than the Governor.

Welcome home Ray. Parade on Monday giving him key to city.......

The link between Musto and the sewer project loan came to light in November when federal prosecutors filed a superseding indictment against the ex-lawmaker. The $11 million low-interest loan through the state-run authority PENNVEST was approved on Oct. 24, 2006, just days after a "person affiliated with the township" paid a $1,000 cash bribe to Musto for his support and vote as a PENNVEST board member, the indictment charged. The person, identified in court papers only as "Participant No. 2," had been paying bribes and kickbacks to the Pittston Township Democrat for political favors for decades as part of a "stream of benefits," the indictment claimed

After the project was completed in 2009, DEP inspectors found nearly 70 defects. They discovered that manhole covers were not airtight, steel used was not made in the United States as required, and leaks were prevalent, along with other various design flaws that would have compromised the system, according to the DEP documents

Canadian steel was used throughout the project when the project's terms required U.S.-manufactured steel, McDonald said. "The engineer should certainly have known that," McDonald said. The engineer allowed the contractor to use Canadian steel.

engineer robbed the county out of millions and only did 1 year in prison. The county is collecting very little property tax on his Mansion that sits on 292 prime acres. He continues to thumb his nose at the "little people". He changed the name of his business and put it in his sons name.

I think these raids show that the Democratic party is a criminal enterprise masquerading as a political party...

Mericle's role in the kids-for-cash corruption scandal and challenges the judge to issue a punishment that is "years overdue." Plead to charges in 2008

Mericle is to be sentenced on Friday on a charge of misprision of a felony. His federal crime stems from his paying $2.1 million to former Luzerne County judges Mark A. Ciavarella Jr. and Michael T. Conahan,(used term Finder's Fee never disclosed on tax's) who were accused of conspiring to shutter a county-run juvenile detention center and send scores of juveniles to two facilities built by Mericle's construction firm. Mericle pleaded guilty on Sept. 2, 2009 to failing to report that he knew the judges lied about the money on their taxes

Lawyers for ex-state Sen. Ray Musto, the Pittston-area political heavyweight, say Mericle gave their man $38,000 in cash, goods and services as a reward for exerting his influence in
the Senate. Musto is in deep legal and health troubles.

85 yr. old ex-state Sen. Ray Musto passed away so now a local radio guy is sending a right-2-know-letter for all the facts and details of the indictment against the ex-lawmaker now that the case is officially closed........ Good Luck

I'm predicting a minimum 2 yrs for Mericle, the billionaire contractor @ 10am today. I heard Judge Kosik is retiring after today! I'll be there, should also see CNN and NBC/ABC..........
