Just throwing it out there. Yankees' opponents are almost always plus money. Yanks have had one solid 9 game winning streak this year which would obviously kill you, but seems the odds are in your favor that this wouldn't happen too often. I pick the Yanks because other than CC, they have nothing special at starting pitching so they are vulnerable to lose every game really. That combined with the fact that they are a public team and their opponents are always plus money makes this even more attractive. Nothing I'll probably end up trying, but my initial thought is that it could be profitable.

Personally am against any chase system as believe in long run would be detrimental to bankroll.

just looking at the record..the skankees are 37-28. so they have 97 games left. i see them with at the very least 70 losses. so if i were to do this and they meet my 70 loss expectations then they will be su 55-42 the remaining games. thats of course all speculation. what unit per game were you looking at.

If anyone thinks this may be able to work, I'd love some feedback or suggestions. I only picked Yanks because they are usually pretty large favs. If we would've done this for Wash for example, we'd be up a nice chunk. LOL

I think that's a pretty reasonable estimation. Let's assume the average opponent is +150. If that's the case you're only going to win 8 units playing only one unit per game. Doesn't seem worth the risk.

How about fading them with the exception of CC on the mound.

Or fade them everytime Chen Ming Wong is on the mound.

Chases are stupid

best case scenario is an ROI of about 5%

worst case, you lose your bankroll.

the yankees are a team that could get on a hot streak and win 10 in a row. i know their pitching hasn't been impressive but look at reputations... sabathia is a solid top five pitcher in the league, burnett is coming off a career year and has been dominant in a few of his starts, wang is a multiple time 19 game winner, im sure everyone knows about pettitte, and chamberlain is one of the best young pitchers in the game. then you have mariano rivera closing games out and an offense that features superstars like jeter, damon, texiera, and a-rod, this team could get on a huge hot streak if everything falls in place at the right time. its bound to happen again.

I began documenting this very thing the second week of the season. This info is if you faded the NYY since then:

Record: 23-31

Avg. lay price: +1.52

Profit from flat-betting $100/play: $396

Really takes a lot of discipline when you have a matchup like last night. Hope this helps.
