totally on topic. KArl Rove picked Palin to get votes. women and evangelicals. I think many know she is phony. Alan Keyes would have gotten votes. ITs why Bush and his dad got raped in Iowa the last 12 years because IOwans know they are phony scumbags.

This was a demographic that McCain was severely underperforming in... Palin does help him here but I don't think she helps him outperform Bush (she may not need to)

McCain is going to need similar numbers to be in the thick of things.
