I will add my two cents as the Shrink has called into question Minnow’s assertion that MW is "wiser"
I don’t know what the current climate of free expression is here that the RX but I think it is fair to say that historically MW has been the site with a more "tolerant" attitude towards dissent. Notice this is my first post under this handle. My previous attempts to join this community have resulted in my banishment from this board. I also got a few buddies banned by posting under their names. If you are familiar with my posts across the street (or here) you realize I am often times NEGATIVE but always fair and never a flamer, troublemaker, etc.
I think we all know what forums desire in terms of their preferred audience and the RX has consistently delivered. to its sponsors that preferred constituency. In fact, if I were an advertiser I would certainly advertise here before MW. Here is the thing, though, I am not an advertiser. I don’t own a sportsbook. I am a gambler and only post to ask questions, answer questions, be amused or to tell my own jokes. I go where I can learn, teach, and share more with other gamblers. The RX is a wonderfully successful business and the Shrink is a brilliant businessman. Along the way, I fear, they trampled on free speech and cut corners to create the illusion that the site was even busier than it is. I asked simple questions and …PUFF, I was gone.
Anywise, I plan to start posting here from time. If things go well, I plan on posting more often. I hope that many of you will post at the MW or any other sites where you learn more. We gamblers have no financial stake in either site (excluding moderators, I suppose) and our only goal should be to learn more from each other. This URL address of the site should not matter. I look forward to posting here.
