What did i tell you guys about Greece and them pulling a surprise at the EURO cup, they are already guaranteed a spot in the 2nd round. Who knows they might be the next denmark who pulled an upset a few years back. Its not about how many superstars you ve got on the team, its about team effort, look at the flames and the pistons. Lets wait and see.

Scotland has been very weak since the 98 World Cup Fish. They even lost to the Faroe Islands at one point believe it or not. Actually, they had a chance to qualify but Holland routed them 5-0 in a game they needed to draw to advance. They are decent but not of the caliber of the Italy, Spain, Germany, England, Portugal's for the most part.

Definitely the surprise team so far, they haven't clinched a spot in the next round though, they need either a victory or tie vs Russia or a loss or tie by Portugal vs Spain.

The odds are greatly in their favor to advance though.

I didn't give them a chance at all to make it out of the Group stage, so I have taken it up the ass by this Greek team.

Fish... no Scotland team in the Euro Cup.

It's almost impossible that they don't qualify. If they draw or win against Russia, they are certain to proceed to the quarterfinals.

If the greeks lose against Russia, they will qualify anyway if Portugal draws or loses against Spain. In the case that Portugal beats Spain, Greece will proceed to the playoff stages, as long as Greece loses by one less goal than Spain (in that case they will still proceed unless Spain loses by 3-2 and Greece loses by 1-0).

So to sum up: Greece are through to the quarter finals

And I guess the quarter finals will be the end for them. They are going to play either France or England if both France and England make it through the group stage.

the only team greece should be worried in the whole tournament is France. If they could beat Portugal and tie with Spain, then i think they ve got a big chance to beat any team.

Prelude.. with all due respect, Greece has played well but they beat a suspect Portuguese squad that really isn't that great and Spain are notorious underachievers. I expect both teams that come out of that group to lose in the next stage.
