Authorities say a 19-year-old North Carolina man was killed after he was pulled into a wood chipper.
Officials told local media outlets that Crawford Tree Service of Belmont was cutting down trees in a yard Saturday. They said Mason Scott Cox of Gastonia tried to kick a limb into a wood chipper and got pulled in.


Kings Mountain Police said Cox was pronounced dead at the scene.

No work today but first thing I did was turn on my phone and had a text from wife telling me she heard about a possible merger between DuPont and Dow. I win work at a DuPont plant so I text my boss(who is my best friend) to ask if he knew anything but he didn't. Spent next few hours reading articles online about the merge and then spent rest of day handicapping some horse racing for tomorrow
