</figure>PHILADELPHIA — Two weeks into the 2015 NFL season and Chip Kelly’s Philadelphia Eagles are the biggest disaster in professional football.
While the expectation in Philadelphia was that the Eagle offense would be an unstoppable force revolutionizing the NFL by Kelly’s third year, the Eagles are instead the worst they’ve been in decades — and Kelly is reportedly getting concerned it could limit the salary at the college job he’ll jump to in the next days, weeks or months.
Kelly’s agent has kept in touch with big-time college programs since the day his client accepted the Eagles job in 2013. But that contact has increased since Philadelphia looked awful in a Week 1 loss to the Falcons.

Kelly reportedly has his sights set most on the Texas job, where athletics director Steve Patterson was just fired.
“That sort of budget? With that level of high school talent all around? Chip can’t stop thinking about it,” said an Eagles assistant. “We were supposed to meet today to fine-tune our gameplan for the Jets and he said he was busy looking at Texas high school recruits.”
The former Oregon Ducks head coach isn’t only thinking about his next college job, however. Quarterback Sam Bradford said Kelly gave a very pointed address to the team today.
“He said we need to come out this week and play our best and get a win,” said Bradford. “He said it’s very important because the better we do, the more he can get Texas to pay him. He kept screaming how he wants to be paid more than Nick Saban and how it was up to us to make it happen. He was really fired up, but I’m not sure it translated well to most of us players.”

I'm sure he was kidding because its a hot topic. Players will quit on him in a second if its true, look at Petrino in Atlanta.

Players come from todays society!

College game is moving to the NFL! I'll say most of today's players are not coachable so Kelly or whoever goes to Texas or wherever is in for an awakening! Then I can say if this was said by Kelly, He is part of today's problem!

“He said it’s very important because the better we do, the more he can get Texas to pay him. He kept screaming how he wants to be paid more than Nick Saban and how it was up to us to make it happen. He was really fired up, but I’m not sure it translated well to most of us players.”

Not a team player, TEAM has no "I"

Not sure how anyone could read this and not realize this is satire. Pretty funny.

He should go to Texas ASAP. If you can win at Oregon with that BS offense, imagine what you could do with real recruits playing against the weak ass Big 12 defenses. He would step in Day 1 and win. Charlie Strong. Geeze, what are those oil tycoons thinking.

Agree Vlad. Texas has unlimited amounts of money to spend. What hurt Texas I believe is when A&M went to the SEC. Recruits like playing in the better conference.

BS offense got us four Pac 12 championships and plenty of big wins...seems like you have bigger issues with your own coach

the verdict ain't in on Chip, although I'm beginning to suspect that his offensive blocking schemes will have the same problems in the NFL that Spurrier's did

Please don't go back to college Chip. Love watching the Eagles play, they satisfy my weak attention span with their fast-paced attacking offense.

Even when they're sucking, atleast shit is happening.

Look at how bad Phi was when he tookover. He had a good 1st few years.

I at least know " my coach" sucks. Some guys are meant to be assistants. They can be very good if not great at that job, but no, not head coach material. A head coach is a CEO. A coordinator is the silent VP of marketing that no one recognizes.

Im honestly baffled by Philly this season.
Dont know whats up with the running game.

I agreed 100% with Kelly on DM>LM
Throw in Ryan Matthews and this should be a great running team.

I even had a healthy SB ahead of NF.

Whats up with that team?

I hope they dont figure it for another 8 days though.
