</figure>PHILADELPHIA — Two weeks into the 2015 NFL season and Chip Kelly’s Philadelphia Eagles are the biggest disaster in professional football.
While the expectation in Philadelphia was that the Eagle offense would be an unstoppable force revolutionizing the NFL by Kelly’s third year, the Eagles are instead the worst they’ve been in decades — and Kelly is reportedly getting concerned it could limit the salary at the college job he’ll jump to in the next days, weeks or months.
Kelly’s agent has kept in touch with big-time college programs since the day his client accepted the Eagles job in 2013. But that contact has increased since Philadelphia looked awful in a Week 1 loss to the Falcons.

Kelly reportedly has his sights set most on the Texas job, where athletics director Steve Patterson was just fired.
“That sort of budget? With that level of high school talent all around? Chip can’t stop thinking about it,” said an Eagles assistant. “We were supposed to meet today to fine-tune our gameplan for the Jets and he said he was busy looking at Texas high school recruits.”
The former Oregon Ducks head coach isn’t only thinking about his next college job, however. Quarterback Sam Bradford said Kelly gave a very pointed address to the team today.
“He said we need to come out this week and play our best and get a win,” said Bradford. “He said it’s very important because the better we do, the more he can get Texas to pay him. He kept screaming how he wants to be paid more than Nick Saban and how it was up to us to make it happen. He was really fired up, but I’m not sure it translated well to most of us players.”
