Im sorry man. I'm not against spending good money for good shit. Heck I have a pair of $2000 headphones and a $700 blender but those 350 glasses don't look $10 nicer then the $15 glasses I bought at cvs pharmacy

i understand what you're saying. A picture won't sell you on them. Have to go try them on. I wouldn't steer you wrong Chop.

Gucci Sunglasses. If you think sunglasses are sunglasses go try on a pair and tell me you don't look 10 times better. Girls will look at you and treat you different. $345 worth every penny.

I dont mind spending money on things that make me feel good about the way I look, but I'd have a hard time buying that...

LOVE my Fossil Aviators and I just lost them and having a hard time shelling out another $60 for them (3rd pair ina year)

they're fancy labels on cheap frames. There are good sunglasses brands out there but when you get into the tom fords guccis d&g you're not paying for quality and craftsmanship you're paying for the label. I get most sunglasses at cost, the cost on those glasses are peanuts to what they charge, while mark up on a brand like Maui Jim for example which are just ugly to me but probably some of the best lenses around is very low, with them you're paying mostly for the product quality as they price to stay in the premium price range but since they're using quality product they're making less profit. If you're gonna spend the big bucks make sure you get quality and a name thatll impress the gold diggers so you get the most bang for the buck. Luxxotica uses the same cheap frames and lenses for their design house lines as they do on their cheap lines. Most guys don't want to believe their frames are garbage, and that's not a rip on Gucci, or DG, prada etc, Gucci does a shit load of stuff very well but their nitch isn't eyewear and they don't invest anything into it, they don't need to, they know that the name alone means sales, why eat up profit and invest in making a better product? doesn't make business sense to do it. That said, what the poster was talking about regarding getting noticed, a fancy label can do that.

Ive had mine over a year and they are like new. If you buy them at Nordstrom and you break them (even if you sit on them) take them back and they will give you a new pair. No questions!!

Gay guys for my haircuts, does that count? I don't trust most chicks to do it right and a straight guy worries me more than a chick

It's just something a little over the top that makes you look and feel better. They tell girls you have a little coin and know how to take care of a pair of sunglasses. (Read that in a magazine once) :103631605

This is is the way I think. I'm willing pay for quality but not name alone.
I would rather pay 500 for a no name pair of glasses that are truly worth 500 without the status of a lesser quality pair even if the name is not as well known.

a great example are my headphones.

If I was walking down the street with the top of the line beats headphones on my head that cost 400 I would look more cool to people then I would wearing $2000 seinheisers.
