More and more everyday are opening so there must be some good profits in it. Like in all facets of life, dwell on the bad or roll with the good. There are reasons to dislike about anything if you choose to focus on those aspects.

WSEX made $7,000,000 profit in fiscal 2000 according to an article I read last year.

I'm sure that figure has gone up along with the popularity of online gambling.

WWTS made good money too according to their statements that were made public once the takeover was announced.

The books that know how to book properly and don't give away the store in bonuses make money, plain and simple.

Betaustralia makes good money too, go read their financial statements.

BC bets made some big dough the last few years courtesy of a whale from Canada who dropped some big money at their store.

So despite the scammers, chargebacks, DOS attackers, there seems to be enough degenerate losers out there so that the books can still come out ahead.

Sportsbook.com makes a killing.

Olympic does great

I would say the V-O group ( VWager - PlayersSuperbook - MVPSportsBook ) do very well.

The books that steal and then go out of business probably make some big coin.

Books with diverse product lines are the most profitable. A book like VIP that has heavy casino and horse racing revenues helps offset the times when the players have a good season.

Also books that for whatever reason attract whales like WWTS and Sportsbook.com.

One other point Jersey, bookies love to cry. I don't know Joey that well but it's in a lot of the old school guys blood. LOL. My Pop would cry, whine and moan over any sort of near loss. When he won little was said but if he lost he spoke on it forever. In 25 years of taking football he never had one losing season but to hear him cry and complain you'd think he never won. I always thought we were on our last legs. If he said I broke even or won a little something that meant dig another hole or two in the back. I never heard him say he had a good week-end, he only got destroyed by the players or "broke even". Once in a great while he'd say he won a tiny bit, when he did you knew all the wheelbarrows would come up missing....

Gotta love it as they drive away crying in their nice new vehicles to their nice homes

Why would anyone play a casino online? What a scam. I'm gonna bet $1,000 on blackjack, computer I trust you to deal randomly, ya right.

I would guess just about every book we name as solid or even that we play at on here is making money, some more than others. The scams and things on the top 10 list are just mere annoyances, bottom line is booking when you have a proper bankroll and sufficient customers is very profitable. All those that most of us name on here would fall under those categories. The rare Aces Gold case overshadows the fact that almost all of the rest make at least some money. The new books that do well almost always come with customers and people that have experience in the industry so they have a shot at it, but they obviously will go through a period of time where they probably aren't making money.
