What Books (if any) would send you an end of the year statement if requested, even if a small fee for doing so?

A few years ago, I asked Oasis sportsbook and Casino to please send me an email or statement of wins and losses (fees paid back to credit card). It was easy to keep track in those days, because a book would simply pay back a credit card. Plus WSEX had a feature where you can run print a 90 day statement on their website. (I was only concerned with Oasis as I had MORE than enough losses at WSEX to offset to offset any wins). They never did get back to me on it so I forgot about it. Now This year I have not printed out the 90 day feature at WSEX and have added WWTS, which does not have it. ) Has anyone here tried to get a Book to send them a yearly statement. While overall (once again) I am down for the year, from a certain book I have a profit (through Neteller deposit) but have no way of showing the losses from others without an end of year statement to cover my ass.

most books don't want you to know how much you've lost. you may quit or slow your gambling with them for a bit or all together. you may become rude and demanding saying well i lost this so i deserve this etc. most times its a lose lose proposition for the book to give you the figures.

Some books you can look at REPORTS of your past history....days, weeks, months, and some entire years. You could just print this out. Right off hand, dont know what books offer reports up for the whole year.

Strut --Others; It is very important to me. I worry constantly now about this because of neteller. The problem is --I do NOT think that the government will take Neteller ( but maybe wrong). Does Neteller allow you to run a Yearly statement deposits and withdrawals. If not a full year, it's no good to me.
Besides--a Book could do it in seconds and get a small fee for emailing it. I hope Shrink or someone with influence could ask them to do this. Hell--it would RAISE their status in a player's eyes not dimish it. (Worried)

Pinnacles History seems to go back to the year 2000. Of course you'd have to print each individual month at a time as thats the most they'll show at once. But thats not too much work.

Thanks Funk--I'll keep that in mind for the future. But that won't help me with Carib(The ONLY one that I have a profit with) or WSEX -Intertops and WWTS for 2003.

Good Point --Dante! But remember a gambler's hope springs eternal.

I'm going to go to WSEX in a day or so and run off a 90 day report. (But will have nothing from the others)

I keep a handwritten journal which shows daily $ total amounts of wins or losses. I also have a column showing running totals for each year updated daily in addition to a column of total balance in all books, also updated daily. Winning entries are in black and losses are in red.

BTW, when on a winning streak it is important that I use the same pen. The first time a red entry appears I then discard the black pen [and it must be black and not blue--blue is bad take my word for it] which has now betrayed me and is no longer useful. The first day I win again, I use a new one. This helps cut down on the red entries. If there are too many red entries in a row, I also discard that particular red pen and try using another one. That works every time because inevitably I get back to the new black pen.

I also list every book individually with my balance in each--yes updated daily. Each deposit and withdrawal and method of deposit and withdrawal monthly, I also record on the same page.

All of this takes but a few minutes a day. Each new month I carry over the totals to the top of the page for next month. Obviously, I have a complete record of my daily, monthly, and yearly activity in front of me and can very easily keep track of my winning and losing streaks and trends. I have my record in every out I've used, not to mention all of this information in years past as well.

I make copies of any checks, keep any WU slips and print my monthly neteller transactions and staple those to the appropriate page.

The "National Brand Premium Analysis Pad" has 13 columns and 50 separate 11x16 pages. Good enough for four years with columns enough for 10 books and the above mentioned 3 columns as well on each page. There is plenty of room to add comments and make notes regarding individual sport tallies, specific games and such.

I am very fortunate that Mrs. Jones set this up for me several years back. I found out early that when I made the entries my luck was bad, yet when she did, it was much better. So when I wake up and go to my desk each morning all information is updated and waiting for me.

You might ask why I don't use a sreadsheet of somekind. The answer is that I am an old man who only knows his computer well enough to do what I must do.

Also highly unlikely, I do pay my taxes, but should any villain or miscreant ever need to see this information, it would be rather obvious that it is not something I could cook up overnight. There are simply to many whiteouts, specific game notations, entries with obviously different pens, and rather amazing comments, smiley faces, and words of encouragement Mrs Jones has put in there over the last few years.

Anyway, I'm hoping this may be of some help to a few of you.

Hi Mr.Jones,
That is wonderfull and a VERY GOOD method, without any doubt. BUT, it's recreaction for me and what you are doing sounds like WORK.

Thant's why I'd like the books to email or send me a statement. Hell I'm not asking for it free, but they can print it out in no time.

Ok, Dante: Can you and The General ask Shrink to please ask the Books. (The Only ones I play with now are on the reccommended list. Except Carib--which I stopped after loosing the balance about 1 month ago)

You got the Power! That's what the song says.

Gentlemen,

Recreation is no doubt a fine and necessary thing.

I however, have found that in life recreation is a something that I have generally paid to engage in, whereas work has generally paid me to engage in it.

What I have described above really only takes a few minutes a day and is but a small amount of work, which for me provides both fun and recreation and helps me use the black pen more often than the red one.

Ok, This is what I'm going to do. At the first of the Year, well before Super Bowl; Im going to ask each Book that I played with this year to send me a statement of total wins and total losses.
Ok--Now if only one does it. THAT BOOK WILL become the ONLY book that I play with for the rest of 04.
If-I can't get ANY book to do it. Than I shall close my other accounts and play AT ONLY ONE BOOK the entire year which will make it extremely simple to keep a record. I don't want to do this, as I enjoy finding a half point or 10cent better baseball line, but it is asking WAY too much to keep a record for 4 or more books. ONE WILL DO.

Koftheroad,
I only sent an email to one asking for a statement of wins-losses. No response. So I will probably just use the Neteller statement assuming I can print out 2003. I haven't looked yet. If Not--then just my bank statements--Whatelse can one do? Any ideas?
